Contact record types
A contact record is a record of a person or an organization. ezyVet has many different types of contact record.
The Contact Type section of the contact record screen has settings that you can use to specify the type of contact record:

| Customer | If you select Customer, the result is a client contact record. Note: ezyVet automatically selects Customer when you make a contact record. |
| Vet | If you select Vet, the result is a veterinarian contact record. Use a veterinarian contact record for:

| Staff Member | If you select Staff Member, the result is a staff contact record. Use a staff contact record for a staff member of your organization. |
| Supplier | If you select Supplier, the result is a supplier contact record. Use a supplier contact record for product suppliers and diagnostics suppliers. |
| Syndicate | If you select Syndicate, the result is a syndicate contact record that you can use for syndicates. A syndicate is related to a patient that more than one person owns. Note: A syndicate contact record is usually for persons who do work with horses. |
| Pharmacy | If you select Pharmacy, the result is a pharmacy contact record. Use a pharmacy contact record for:
