Report file formats

Some ezyVet reports have different file formats that you can select in the report settings. Each file format changes how ezyVet shows the report output.

The table that follows gives each report file format and its function.

Note: Not all reports have the same available file formats for report output.
File formatFunction
ExcelUse Excel format if you want to use Microsoft Excel to make changes to the report output.
CSVUse CSV format if you want to make changes to the report output. To make changes, you can use Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet apps (for example, LibreOffice Calc).
Note: ezyVet customer support recommends that you use CSV format for reports that have a large quantity of data.
HTMLUse HTML format:
  • If you want to quickly show the report output
  • If it is not necessary to make changes to the report output
ezyVet automatically shows HTML report output in a new window of your web browser.
PDFUse PDF if it is not necessary to make changes to the report output. PDF is also usually applicable if you want to send the report to other staff.
DATDAT format is available as an output format for ASAP versions of the Controlled Drug report.
