You can use ezyVet Scan to add barcodes to products and to scan product barcodes for inventory counts and inventory transfers. It is important to know which types of barcodes are compatible with ezyVet Scan.

• Codabar
• EAN-13
• EAN-8
• UPC-E
• UPC-A
• PDF417
• Aztec Code
• Data Matrix

Tip: If you use ezyVet Scan to add a barcode to a product, ezyVet Scan automatically syncs the product barcode to the applicable product record in ezyVet.

Note: A UPC-A barcode could show as UPC-E for a product record in ezyVet. The Format column of the product record settings in ezyVet shows the barcode:
