Patient weight sync between Vet Radar and ezyVet

When you initially sync a clinical record from ezyVet to Vet Radar, ezyVet includes patient information in the synced data (for example, the patient name). The synced patient information can include patient weight. To tell ezyVet to include patient weight in the initial sync, a practice manager uses Sync patient weight from ezyVet on admit setting in Vet Radar.

Figure 1. The Sync patient weight from ezyVet on admit setting

The Sync patient weight from ezyVet on admit setting
If a practice manager enables Sync patient weight from ezyVet on admit:
  • ezyVet syncs patient weight information to Vet Radar in the initial sync
  • Vet Radar syncs patient weight information to ezyVet when you make a change to the weight in Vet Radar
If a practice manager disables Sync patient weight from ezyVet on admit, Vet Radar does not show the weight of a patient in its user interface until you use Vet Radar to record the weight. For example, if the setting is disabled when you initially sync patient information from ezyVet to Vet Radar, the applicable patient card does not show the weight. Then, if you use Vet Radar to record the patient weight:
  • Vet Radar syncs the patient weight information to ezyVet
  • The patient card shows the patient weight
  • The patient information area shows the patient weight
  • ezyVet syncs the patient weight to Vet Radar if you change the patient weight in the clinical record
Note: You must use Vet Radar to record the patient weight again if these conditions agree:
  1. A practice manager disables the Sync patient weight from ezyVet on admit setting
  2. You use Vet Radar to discharge the patient
  3. You sync the clinical record from ezyVet to Vet Radar again
