About simplified product configuration
Simplified product configuration is a new pilot feature for ezyVet. The feature includes changes that help you to find and configure product records quickly and easily. And the changes help make sure that your ezyVet records have accurate clinical information.
- The new Products screen that shows when you select the Admin primary tab, then select Products in the left sidebar's settings list
- The location of the product search box, which moved from the left sidebar to the Products screen
- Adjacent to the product search box, a filter that you can use to show products of only one product group
- For each product that the Products screen shows, an i button that you can select to show a pop-up window with information about the product
- A new user interface and method to make a product record after you select New product in the Products screen
- Product type and clinical type settings that you can select to show applicable settings for product records

Product records that your site had before the simplified product configuration feature
For each product record that your site had before the simplified product configuration feature, ezyVet automatically sets the correct product type and clinical type. Thus, it is not necessary to make changes to product records that your site had before.
Product records of a product supplier integration
For each product record of a product supplier integration, ezyVet automatically sets the correct product type and clinical type. Thus, it is not necessary to manually configure product types and clinical types.
