A diagnostic test of IDEXX VetConnect PLUS shows Test must be linked before ordering

You can get access to IDEXX VetConnect PLUS from a clinical record directly. Then, you can select diagnostic tests of IDEXX Reference Laboratories. Do this troubleshooting if a test that you want to select in VetConnect PLUS is not available and shows Test must be linked before ordering:

The related diagnostic test record in ezyVet is disabled

Each diagnostic test of IDEXX VetConnect PLUS has a related diagnostic test record in ezyVet. If the related diagnostic test record in ezyVet is disabled, the test is not available for you to select in IDEXX VetConnect PLUS.

Enable the related diagnostic test in ezyVet

A practice manager or a person with the necessary administrator permissions must do these steps.

  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Clinical.

  3. Select Supplied Diagnostics.

    ezyVet shows the supplied diagnostic tests of your site.
  4. Select the I/A tab.

  5. Use the search box of the left sidebar to find and select the applicable diagnostic test.
    ezyVet shows the settings of the diagnostic test.
    Trouble: If you cannot find the supplied diagnostic test, select the Active tab and do a search. If the Active tab shows the supplied diagnostic test, the diagnostic test is available and staff can use it.
  6. Select Restore.
