About treatment template picklists

Use a treatment template picklist to quickly and easily select applicable treatments for a patient. A treatment template picklist has treatments. When you select a picklist, you can select applicable treatments to add to the patient sheet. Thus, it is not necessary to manually find and add each treatment each time.

A practice manager must configure the picklist in the treatment template. Other staff cannot change the treatments in a picklist.

Note: A treatment template picklist is not the same as an ezyVet picklist.

Practice managers can make a picklist for treatments that staff frequently use for a procedure.

A practice manager configures a treatment template for a neuter procedure. They configure:
  • All of the necessary medications and charges
  • All of the necessary monitoring treatment tasks

The practice manager knows that it is necessary to give patients an e-collar after the procedure. They make a treatment template picklist. In the picklist, they select all of the available sizes of e-collars. Then they configure the treatment task settings to automatically complete.

When a nurse makes the patient sheet, they select the template and make the treatment tasks for the procedure. After the veterinarian completes the procedure, the nurse measures the patient and selects the applicable e-collar from the picklist. Vet Radar adds the selected e-collar to the patient sheet and automatically completes the treatment task.
