SMS messages do not send and ezyVet shows Failed or SMS Error statuses

Do this troubleshooting if:
  1. SMS messages do not send correctly from ezyVet
  2. The applicable change log entries or communication records show a Failed status or SMS Error status

The SMS message content has special characters

Some special characters are possibly not compatible with the SMS system that ezyVet uses. If a message has special characters that are not compatible, the SMS system will not send the message.

Examples of special characters include tilde ( ~ ), percent ( % ), and angle brackets ( < > ).

Remove the special characters from the message and try again

If the special characters are in an SMS template, speak to your practice manager.
