General settings of the e-booking system

Before a practice manager configures the e-booking system, it is important for them to know the function of its general settings.

When you configure your ezyVet site with an e-booking system, ezyVet shows general configuration settings:

This table gives each setting and its function:

Allow checkin from the Kiosk after appointment start time (Minutes)Do not use this setting with the e-booking system.
Notice for first bookable appointment time (Hours)Set to YES to enter a minimum time before a client can make an appointment. For example:
  1. The time is 9:00 AM.
  2. One appointment is available at 11:00 AM.
  3. Notice for first bookable appointment time (Hours) is 1.

Result: A client can make an appointment for 11:00 AM only before 10:00 AM.

Note: If you do not enter a value, clients can make an appointment immediately.
Buffer between appointment times (Minutes)Set to YES to enter a period between available appointments during which clients cannot make an appointment.
Maximum number of available appointments shown (Per day)Set to YES to show an estimate of the maximum number of available appointments that your organization could have each day.
Note: The estimate is not an accurate number of available appointments. The estimate is to make your clients think that you have the number of available appointments. You can use this setting to prevent access to data about appointment numbers if a person who is not approved sees your online portal.
Require consent form before booking appointmentSet to YES if it is necessary for clients to enter an electronic signature in a consent form. Then, select the applicable consent form in the adjacent box.
Require terms and conditions are acceptedSet to YES if it is necessary for a client to agree to your organization’s terms and conditions before they make appointments. Then, enter the terms and conditions in the adjacent box.
