Client default address distance
Each client contact record can have a distance value. The distance value is the distance between the veterinary practice and a client’s physical address.
ezyVet uses the distance value in a client’s contact record to automatically calculate the travel costs that show on the client’s invoice.
Each client can have more than one address. And each address can have a different distance value. When you make an appointment, the available addresses show in the Appointment Address list. In the image that follows, the client Dave Lister has two available addresses.
After you select an address in the Appointment Address list, ezyVet shows the distance value of the address in the Travel Billing box. In the image that follows, the address selected for the client Dave Lister has a default value of 15 km.
