Use a picklist of a clinical template to record patient information

You can use a picklist to quickly and easily record answers to questions in a clinical template. Thus, it is not necessary to manually record patient information.

To use a picklist in a clinical template, do this procedure.
Note: This example uses the Patient's Diet clinical template to record the patient's diet. A practice manager configured a picklist for the Patient's Diet clinical template.
Note: This example uses a clinical template in the History section of a clinical record. A practice manager can also configure picklists for clinical templates in other sections of a clinical record.
  1. Select Clinical.

  2. Find and select the applicable clinical record.
  3. Select History.
    ezyVet shows the New History dialog box.
  4. Select the Template box.

  5. Select the applicable clinical template.
    1. In the Comments box, ezyVet automatically enters the clinical template that you selected
    2. ezyVet automatically selects the Comments box and puts the cursor before the initial text
  6. Make sure that cursor is before the initial text.

  7. To show the available answers to the first question, select the Tab key.

  8. Select the applicable answer.
    Note: To select an answer, you can use a number key to enter the number of the applicable answer. For example, to select the answer Wet food, select the 1 key.
    Note: If the available answers are not applicable, you can manually enter an answer.
  9. Do steps 7 thru 8 again as necessary.
  10. Select Add.
