Release notes: ezyVet version 45.3
ezyVet version 45.3 is available from June 30, 2026.
Changes
Standard version of the Controlled Drug report: If you dispensed a batch-tracked medication from a product container, the report output shows the batch number and batch expiration date.
The Inventory Value report has a new Start Date box. Use the Start Date box to show only inventory values after a given date. The report output does not use inventory values recorded before the start date in quantity and cost calculations.
Fix for price increases of product bundles
- You use the Records dashboard tab to increase the prices
- You do not select Price Change Inc. TAX
Previously, if you did not select Price Change Inc. TAX, ezyVet incorrectly decreased the prices.
Fixes for inventory transfers
After you select Split Transfer to make a copy of an inventory transfer, ezyVet correctly keeps the quantities of each product in the initial transfer. Previously, ezyVet changed the quantities of each product to be equal to the available inventory levels.
- Some line items incorrectly had a quantity of 0 in the Split Qty box
- After you selected Split Inventory Transfer, ezyVet removed line items that incorrectly had a quantity of 0 in the Split Qty box from the copied inventory transfer
Other fixes
In clinical summaries, medication names show correctly and have correct formatting. Previously, medication names could include formatting code and did not have correct formatting (for example, Gabapentin 100mg (Per Capsule)).
When you send a statement from the Statements report and you do not select an email template, ezyVet correctly uses the configured statement email template. Previously, ezyVet used a different email template.
Inventory Value report: Report output in Microsoft Excel format correctly shows the Total Inventory Value and Cost Price Per Unit columns in currency format. Previously, the report output did not show the columns in currency format. As a result, you could not use the column entries as numbers to sort the report output.
Records dashboard tab: ezyVet shows the correct text color for each section name in the screen. Previously, ezyVet showed the section names in a yellow color that was not easy to read.
