Systems and configurations that are not compatible with ezyPrint
Before you use ezyPrint, it is important to know if it is compatible with your organization's systems and printer configurations.
Systems that are not compatible with ezyPrint
IDEXX does not recommend ezyPrint:
- If your organization uses only Apple macOS devices
- If your organization uses only Chromebook devices
- If your organization does not have a stable network connection (for example, if your organization is a mobile clinic)
Note: The ezyPrint integration is fully compatible with these operating systems only:
- Windows 11
- Windows 10 (64-bit and 32-bit)
- Windows Server 2022
- Windows Server 2019
Printer configurations that are not compatible with ezyPrint
IDEXX does not recommend ezyPrint:
- If you regularly change your printer settings (for example, if you want to regularly change the paper size or orientation)
- If you want to print continuous labels (because ezyPrint cannot print continuous labels)
- If your organization uses network-shared printers
- If you want to print on each side of the paper (duplex printing)
Note: As an alternative to duplex printing with ezyPrint, deactivate ezyPrint. As a result, documents and labels that you try to print from ezyVet show as a PDF document. Then, you can print the PDF document to a printer that can do duplex printing.
