Settings of an appointment type

Before a practice manager configures an appointment type, it is important to know the function of its settings.

Appointment type settings
This table gives each setting and its function:
PropertyFunction
Needs a clientIf set to YES, a staff member must select a client when they make the appointment.
Needs a patientIf set to YES, a staff member must select a patient when they make the appointment.
Needs a clinical recordIf set to YES, the appointment always has a related clinical record. You can also enter other clinical record information when you make the appointment (for example, a case owner and presenting problems).
Requires a reason to cancelIf set to YES, a staff member must give information about why it is necessary to cancel the appointment.
Display client's addressIf set to YES, you can select an applicable client address when you make the appointment.
Note: This setting does not show or hide the client address of the appointment shown in the calendar.
