About ezyVet Data Lake
ezyVet Data Lake is a paid service of ezyVet that enterprise customers can use to do high-precision reporting and data visualization of ezyVet site data.
High-precision reporting and data visualization helps enterprise customers to do planning and to make important business decisions with easy analysis of their organization's data.
All ezyVet sites have two primary methods that organizations can use do to reporting:
- ezyVet reports (for example, the reports that show in the ezyVet Reporting primary tab)
- ezyVet API
ezyVet reports and the ezyVet API are good reporting methods for these conditions:
- When it is not necessary to have continuous reporting that is almost-real time
- When it is not necessary to include more data than what an ezyVet report makes available in its settings
- When it is not necessary to include more data than what the ezyVet API makes available in its endpoints
- When it is not necessary for a report to show the data of more than one site of your organization
For many organizations, the data that ezyVet reports and the ezyVet API gives is sufficient for reporting. But for some organizations with large quantities of data, ezyVet reports and the ezyVet API are not good reporting methods. ezyVet Data Lake gives a solution for organizations:
- That want easy access to all data of all sites for reporting and data visualization
- That want continuous, high-precision reporting that is almost real-time
- That want data visualization that is almost real-time
- That do not want a limit for the types of data that they can include in reports
- That want a low-maintenance system that they can use to make reports and dashboards
Examples of high-precision reports that you can do with ezyVet Data Lake include:
- A report that shows the overdue invoices of each staff member of each department
- A security audit that shows the user account permissions of each user account of each department for all sites
- A report that shows the product bundles that all invoices of all sites have the most
- A referral statistics report with clinical information that is not available from ezyVet reports or from the ezyVet API
Examples of the dashboard software that you can use to do data visualization with ezyVet Data Lake include:
- Tableau
- Power BI
- Grafana
- OpenSearch
