Send a diagnostic imaging request to RocketPACS

Use ezyVet to send diagnostic imaging requests directly to RocketPACS.

  • Make sure that your site has a configured integration for RocketPACS
  • If you want to send a diagnostic interpretation request at the same time, make sure that ezyVet has the necessary configuration for diagnostic interpretation requests
To send a request, do this procedure.
  1. Select Clinical.
    The Clinical tab
    The left sidebar shows clinical records of your ezyVet site.
  2. In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable clinical record.

  3. Select Diagnostics and Treatments.

    Trouble: If ezyVet does not show the Diagnostics and Treatments button, select View By Group:

  4. Adjacent to Diagnostic Request, select the plus button.

    ezyVet shows a New Diagnostic Request dialog box.
  5. In the Vet box, select the applicable veterinarian.
  6. In the Diagnostic Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record for the applicable RocketPACS modality.

  7. In the Diagnostics boxes, select the diagnostic imaging type that you want.

  8. Make the remaining settings as necessary.
  9. Select Add.

    ezyVet shows a New Diagnostic Interpretation Request dialog box:

    Trouble: ezyVet does not show a New Diagnostic Interpretation Request dialog box:
    • If ezyVet is not configured to send diagnostic interpretation requests
    • If ezyVet is not correctly configured to send diagnostic interpretation requests
    • If ezyVet is configured to send diagnostic interpretation requests but the Bypass Interpretation Popup setting in the configured RocketPACS integration is set to YES
  10. In the History box, enter information that is for the imaging specialist as necessary.
  11. Make the remaining settings as necessary.
  12. Select Add.

  1. ezyVet sends the diagnostic imaging request and the diagnostic interpretation request to RocketPACS
  2. RocketPACS shows the diagnostic request in its modality worklist
  3. The Diagnostic Request section of the ezyVet clinical record shows the diagnostic request
