About the PetLink integration
The PetLink integration gives you access to microchips that you can put in patients to help your clients find their lost pets.
After a practice manager configures the PetLink integration, you can do scans of patient microchips from PetLink. After you do a scan, PetLink automatically syncs applicable patient and client data from ezyVet to PetLink. If a different veterinary organization finds a lost patient, they can do a scan of the patient's microchip and use the microchip information to:
- Identify the patient
- Contact the pet owner and help them find their pet
Note: The PetLink integration is only available in the United States and Canada.

Mandatory data for patient registration in PetLink
A mandatory set of ezyVet data is necessary for patient registration in PetLink. This table gives the mandatory data:
