About the myBalto integration

The myBalto Foundation is a nonprofit organization that makes charities for practices. You can use a myBalto Foundation charity to pay for a patient's clinical care when a client cannot pay with other payment methods.

A myBalto Foundation charity:
  • Helps make sure that patients have better clinical care
  • Increases client satisfaction
  • Increases revenue
  • Decreases compassion fatigue for your staff
Note: The myBalto integration is available in the United States and Canada.

When you have a myBalto Foundation charity, clients can give money to your charity when they pay for clinical care. The myBalto Foundation keeps between five to eight percent of the money that clients give to your charity.

When a client cannot pay for a patient’s clinical care, you can send a claim to the myBalto Foundation to use money from the charity. The myBalto Foundation gives approval for claims in three minutes or less. In two to five business days, the myBalto Foundation sends money from your charity directly to your organization’s bank account to pay for the clinical care.

Note: To make accounting easy for your practice, myBalto makes tax receipts for large donations that persons make to your charity.
Note: You cannot use a myBalto Foundation charity for cosmetic procedures (for example, lipoma removals and ear cropping).
Note: Before you can use a myBalto Foundation charity to pay for a patient’s treatment:
  1. The client must have a myBalto plan subscription
  2. The client must add their patient information to the myBalto mobile app

The myBalto integration for ezyVetCopy

myBalto is an application that you use to send claims to the myBalto Foundation to use money from your charity for clinical care.

myBalto and ezyVet sync client and patient information. As a result:
  • You can make a claim to use the charity to pay for a patient's clinical care quickly and easily
  • The myBalto Foundation can make sure that how you use the charity agrees with charity regulations
Note: If a client usually uses a different practice, you can use myBalto to get access to the medical records of the client's patients.
