For example, a diagnostics integration could have an English Cocker Spaniel breed. But your ezyVet site could have a breed record for a Cocker Spaniel. Diagnostics breed mapping makes a relation between the English Cocker Spaniel breed of the diagnostics integration and the Cocker Spaniel breed record of ezyVet.

Species and breed mapping makes sure that diagnostics test results and ranges are applicable to the correct species or breed. For example, a PCV blood test has different results for cats and dogs.

Practice managers do species and breed mapping for each diagnostics integration of your site. As a result, each diagnostic request that staff make for the applicable diagnostics supplier has the correct relations to species and breeds.
