Vello online scheduling for hospitals with many departments: Activate and configure wellness visits

If your ezyVet hospital has more than one department and you want to use Vello online scheduling, you must complete the necessary configuration.

To configure wellness visits directly in Vello, do this procedure.
Note: Vello for ezyVet hospitals and departments is only available for specified customers at this time. For more information, contact ezyVet customer support.
Note: This procedure makes wellness visits available for appointment requests in the Vello client portal.
Note: As an alternative to this method, a practice manager can use ezyVet planning guides to configure available times for wellness visits. For more information, refer to the applicable documentation.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

  3. Select Vello.

    If your ezyVet site has only one configured hospital, ezyVet shows the hospital name. But if your site has more than one configured hospital, ezyVet shows a list of hospitals.
  4. Select the arrow for the applicable hospital.

  5. Select Manage Settings.

  6. In the left sidebar, select Appointment Booking.

  7. Set Appointment Scheduling to Enable.

  8. In the Wellness Visits section, set Allow Requests.
  9. In the Wellness Visits section, select Edit.

  10. Set Appointment Length to the applicable time.
  11. In the Department Selection box, select the department that clients can schedule wellness visits with.
  12. In the Days section, set available time ranges for each day.

    Tip: You can set more than one time range for one day.
  13. In the Provider Availability section, select the staff members and rooms that you want to make available.

    Note: If you do not want a staff member to show as available for appointment requests, deactivate the Enable setting.
  14. Select Done.

  15. Select Publish Changes.

  1. Online scheduling is activated
  2. Wellness visits are available with the Vello client portal for the department that you selected in step 11
Note: The Vello client portal does not show departments to clients for appointment requests. The client portal only shows the hospital that you selected in step 4.
