Set up a minimum sell price
Minimum sell price is a pilot feature that lets you set a pricing floor on a product. This ensures items are not sold below a defined minimum value on invoices and estimates.
This feature is currently in pilot. We are actively gathering feedback from customers to refine and improve the experience.
- You need the Product > Change Sell Price permission to set or edit minimum sell prices.
- Minimum sell prices can be set on products of type: Medication, Vaccination, Standard, Diagnostic, and Procedure.
- Minimum sell prices cannot be set on bundles, packages, service fees, or containers directly.
- User discounts, wellness plan discounts, and Price Adjustment Rules (PARs) can discount below the minimum sell price. This is by design.
- Go to and open the product you want to configure.
- Locate the pricing line you want to update.
- Enter a value in the Minimum Sell Price field.
- Select Save.
The minimum sell price is active for that product.
When you add this product to an invoice or estimate, the line total does not fall below this value, unless a discount or Smartflow override is applied.
