Set the expiration date of many medications (Records dashboard method)

You can use the Records dashboard tab to set the expiration date of many medications at the same time. As a result, it is not necessary to set the expiration date of each medication each time.

Make sure that your user account has the necessary permissions.
To set the expiration date, do this procedure.
Note: As an alternative, a practice manager can use a product group to set the expiration date of medications.
  1. Select Dashboard.

  2. Select Records.
    The Records tab
    ezyVet shows the Records screen.
  3. Set Record Type to Product.

  4. In the All section, select the green plus button to add a filter.

  5. Set the filter to Medication.

  6. Select Show Records.

    ezyVet shows the applicable records.
  7. Select the applicable records.
  8. In the Perform Action section, select All or Selected.

    Note: To change all records of the search results, select All. To change only the records that you select, select Selected.
  9. In the Action list, select Set Properties.

  10. Select Action.

  11. Set Product Type to Medication.

  12. In the Medication Settings section, set the applicable expiration date.

  13. Select Set Properties On Products.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

The medications have the changed expiration date.
