Make a prescription for a pharmacy and save it as a PDF document

If you organization does not have the necessary medications for a prescription, you can make a prescription for a pharmacy. ezyVet can save the prescription as a PDF document and keep it in the applicable clinical record.

To make the prescription, do this procedure.
  1. Select Clinical.

  2. In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable clinical record.

  3. Select Diagnostics and Treatments.

    Trouble: If ezyVet does not show the Diagnostics and Treatments button, select View By Group:

  4. Adjacent to Medication, select the plus button.

  5. Select External Dispense.

  6. In the Prescriber box, select the applicable veterinarian.

  7. In the Drug box, select the applicable medication.

  8. Make the other settings as necessary.
  9. Select Add + Dispense.

  10. If necessary, use the Transfer to Pharmacy box to select the applicable pharmacy.

  11. If necessary, use the Reason for Transfer box to select why it is necessary to use a pharmacy.

  12. Make the other settings as necessary.
  13. Select External Dispense + Create Document.

  14. Select Save.

  15. Select Convert To Attachment.

ezyVet saves the prescription as a PDF document. The Attachments section of the Attachment tab of the clinical record shows the prescription:
