Configure a diagnostic test range for a site diagnostic test

If a diagnostic test has a configured diagnostic test range, staff can easily see if the related diagnostic results have unusual values.

To configure a diagnostic test range, do this procedure.
Note: You cannot configure a supplied diagnostic test with a diagnostic test range.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Clinical.

  3. Select Site Diagnostics.

    The left sidebar shows the site diagnostics of your ezyVet site.
  4. Adjacent to Diagnostic Test Range, select the plus button.

    ezyVet shows the New Diagnostic Test Range dialog box.
  5. In the Name box, enter the name of the applicable parameter of the diagnostic test.

  6. In the Species box, select the applicable species.
    Note: If you do not select a species, ezyVet uses the diagnostic test range for all species that receive the diagnostic test.
  7. In the Range Low box, enter the minimum range of the diagnostic test parameter.

  8. In the Range High box, enter the maximum range of the diagnostic test parameter.

  9. In the Units box, enter the unit of measurement of the diagnostic test parameter.

  10. Select Save.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

The diagnostic test has the diagnostic test range. The Diagnostic Test Range section shows the test range:
