Release notes: ezyVet version 45.9

ezyVet version 45.9 is available from September 22, 2026.

Note: Features and functions for a new version release become available gradually. Not all features and functions are available immediately.

Change to template variables to show the last four digits of a saved card

You can show the last four digits of the saved card that the client used for a payment. Use these template variables:
  • {{ payment.cardLastFourDigits }} (Twig template system): Shows the last four digits of the saved card for each payment of an invoice.
  • {PaymentCardLastFourDigits} (classic template system): Shows the last four digits of the saved card in payment templates (for example, receipts).

The template variables show a value for payments with a saved card from the PayJunction or Windcave integration.

The template variables are empty for:
  • Cash payments
  • Check payments
  • ACH payments
  • Card payments that do not have a saved card

Change to show attachment description instead of raw GUID filename in Approve Referral / attachments popup

For the attachments of an rVetLink referral, ezyVet shows the description from rVetLink as the attachment name:
  • After the description, ezyVet shows the file type in square brackets (for example, Dog 1 [PNG]).
  • When the description ends in the file extension, ezyVet shows the extension only one time.
  • When an attachment has no description or no file extension, ezyVet shows the file name of the attachment.

Fix: Markup percentage change when many products are selected

When you change the markup percentage for a large number of products in the Records dashboard tab, ezyVet correctly calculates the new prices. After you select Calculate Prices, ezyVet shows a pop-up window with the new prices, and you can change the prices of the selected products.

Previously, when you selected approximately 1,200 or more products:
  • ezyVet showed a gray screen and did not show the new prices
  • ezyVet did not save the price changes

Fix for terminal payments

ezyVet shows an error message when a PayJunction terminal payment cannot start. For example, a terminal payment cannot start if ezyVet cannot connect to PayJunction, or if PayJunction is temporarily not available. ezyVet does not send the payment to the terminal, and PayJunction does not charge the payment card of the client. The terminal stays available. You can try the payment again.

Previously, when a PayJunction terminal payment could not start:
  • ezyVet showed the Transaction sent to the terminal window until you canceled the payment
  • ezyVet showed the terminal as in use

Fix for table formatting

In a document template, ezyVet changes the dimensions of a table only when you pull a column border or a corner of the table:
  • ezyVet does not show a resize bar on row borders, and you cannot pull a row to change its height
  • When you select a resize bar and do not pull it, ezyVet does not change the table and does not mark the template as changed
  • When you pull a column border, ezyVet changes the column widths and keeps the row heights
  • When you pull a corner of a selected table, ezyVet can change the column widths and keeps the row heights
Previously, each time you selected a cell in a table and saved the template:
  • ezyVet increased the height of each row in the table
  • The printed document could use more pages

Table rows that became taller before this fix keep their heights.

Other fixes

In the Records dashboard tab, you use the Adjust Prices (%) task to adjust the price of a fixed-price product bundle. ezyVet correctly starts the adjustment from the product bundle's invoiced price. Previously, ezyVet added the tax amount that the product bundle kept into the new price. This increased the invoiced price by one tax rate, including when you entered a 0% adjustment.

When you open a Display Invoices To Receive dialog box for a supplier without an active MWI integration, ezyVet shows an error message. Previously, ezyVet did not show an error message, and the dialog box stayed empty.

ezyVet shows the invoice number for each row in the Invoice No. column of the Controlled Drug report. Previously, the Invoice No. column showed no value.
