Release notes: ezyVet version 45.7
ezyVet version 45.7 is available from August 25, 2026.
Changes to the filters of the Records dashboard tab
- Quantities of products that you invoiced
- Quantities of products that you purchased
- Appointments
These filters show their results more quickly, and the counts are more accurate. Previously, ezyVet used a different method to calculate these counts. The method was slow, and it could count some items more than one time.
Changes to e-claim treatment dates
- The first line date as the From date
- The most recent line date as the To date
- E-claims for insurance companies that have an ezyVet integration
- E-claims for insurance companies that do not have an ezyVet integration
Previously, ezyVet calculated the treatment dates from the invoice approval date.
Fix for estimates
EzyVet correctly saves the low and high quantity of an estimate line when you change the values quickly, one after the other. For example, ezyVet saves the change when you increase the low quantity above zero and change the high quantity to zero at the same time.
- ezyVet showed an error message
- ezyVet did not save the quantity change
Fix for Emailed labs integration
- ezyVet adds all result values to the test range table for lab results received through Emailed Labs. Previously, ezyVet did not add some result values to the table, and skipped result lines that had missing:
- Units
- Flags
- Reference ranges
Fix for diagnostic result values
- The text that a staff member entered in the Clinic Notes box
- The text in the Outcome box, when the laboratory result has no result notes
When no staff member changed the Clinic Notes box, ezyVet shows the most recent text from the laboratory in it. This text includes a new result date from the laboratory. When the laboratory result has result notes, ezyVet shows them in the Outcome box.
- ezyVet replaced the text that a staff member entered in the Clinic Notes box with the text from the laboratory
- ezyVet removed the text from the Outcome box when the laboratory result had no result notes
Other changes
After you change a care service's configuration, ezyVet changes related standard-of-care data more quickly.
The Request Dispense dialog box has better performance.
ezyVet version 45.7 has better performance for reports, ezyVet record synchronization, and communication tasks.
ezyVet limits a Percentage wellness plan benefit to a range of 0% to 100%. A benefit configured above 100% removes at most the total of the invoice line. A benefit configured below 0% removes no amount from the invoice line.
ezyVet replaces the Products With Tag filter in the Inventory Take report with two filters that work independently: Product Tag and Product Group Tag. The Product Tag filter shows only tag names from products, and the Product Group Tag filter shows only tag names from the product's financial group. When you use both filters together, ezyVet shows only products that align with both tags.
The Appointments tab on patient, client, and consult records loads in less time when it shows a large number of appointments in one page.
The Records dashboard and Product Groups record lists open faster on large sites. (Very large saved filters can continue to take a long time to open.)
In invoicing, ezyVet shows available discounts and adjustments faster for price adjustment rules that use tag criteria. The adjustments that ezyVet uses are unchanged.
In patient, client, and consult records, the Appointments tab shows a large number of appointments in one page more quickly.
Fix for the online portal
- Select Launch Kiosk Mode in the eBookings dashboard tab
- Select Preview Online Booking in the settings screen for the online portal
- Open the online portal in the same browser as ezyVet
Previously, ezyVet signed you out of ezyVet and it was necessary to sign in again.
Fix for the Animals report
- Latest Temp
- Latest B.C.S.
- Latest D.S.
Previously, the columns incorrectly showed the first value that you recorded.
Fixes for user account records
When you save changes to a user account, ezyVet keeps the session timeout of the user account. Previously, ezyVet could change the session timeout to the system session timeout.
You can save the other settings of your user account without the Add/Edit Users user account permission. ezyVet does not show a permission error message. Previously, ezyVet showed the message You do not have permission to change the user session timeout. ezyVet showed the message when the session timeout of the user account was different from the system session timeout.
Fix for document templates
- Font family
- Font size
- Color
- Strikethrough
- The table did not keep the text formatting.
- ezyVet moved the lines that came after the table into the table.
Fix for health status records
- Pain Score
- Dental Score
- Ovary sizes
- Uterus and cervix tone
- Uterine edema
- Cytology
Previously, ezyVet showed an empty box. ezyVet kept the score of 0 in the record and showed it in the clinical summary.
Fixes for scheduled report tasks
When you save a scheduled report task, ezyVet does a check of the inputs of the report. For example, ezyVet does a check of the start date and the end date of the date range. If an input is missing or is not correct, ezyVet does not save the task. If the task has no report inputs, ezyVet shows the message: The report options are missing. Please choose them again before saving.
- The report did not start correctly
- ezyVet deactivated the task
If you saved a scheduled report task with no date range, the task does not start correctly. To correct the task, enter a date range and save the task. If ezyVet deactivated the task, also select Yes in Automatically Run.
Fix for syndicate invoicing
- The Records dashboard tab
- The Approve Invoices report
- The End of Day Wizard
Previously, closed line items in the initial invoice could show as duplicate line items in member invoices and statements. This occurred when you approved the invoice with one of these methods as an alternative to the invoice's approve button.
Other fixes
- Showed the first patient's data in the dialog box
- Saved the note to the patient's record
In the Wellness Plan Benefit editor, ezyVet ignores a benefit item line that you remove before you save. Previously, ezyVet showed the message "Please add a benefit item!" and you could not save, although one more correct product stayed on the benefit. A benefit must contain a minimum of one item.

ezyVet uses the full configured amount of a wellness plan benefit in an invoice line item. This amount includes the decimal part. Previously, ezyVet removed only the integer part of a benefit configured with a decimal value. For example, a benefit configured to remove £27.30 removed only £27 from the invoice line.
ezyVet correctly calculates invoice totals when a practice uses automatic invoice rounding. Previously, if an invoice total was divisible by the configured rounding amount, ezyVet rounded the invoice total unnecessarily. This adjustment decreased the invoice total by that amount.
ezyVet correctly clears the sales-tax rate and tax split when you copy a fixed- or variable-price bundle, or when you save a bundle price. Container pricing, Package pricing, and standard product pricing each keep a separate tax rate. Previously, copying a bundle could stamp the sales-tax rate configured for the site and a tax split onto the copy's pricing, and when you saved a bundle price, ezyVet did not clear a stale sales-tax rate.
Medication prescriptions: ezyVet automatically deactivates a prescription when you deactivate its last active medication, even if you do not have the Disable Prescriptions permission. Previously, ezyVet did not deactivate the prescription and showed no message, so the prescription stayed active with no active medications.
Security
Emailed Labs: ezyVet correctly keeps and shows lab report text received through the Emailed Labs integration accurately as sent. Previously, ezyVet added stray backslash characters to quotation marks and backslashes in the report (for example, Bella\'s as an alternative to Bella's). Also previously, ezyVet could duplicate result items with a quotation mark in the name when a report was re-sent.
