ezyVet version 44.9 is available from May 5, 2026.
Change: Batch information in the Standard version of the Controlled Drug report
- The batch number
- The quantity of medication in the batch
- The batch expiration date
For example, for a batch with number 001, a quantity of 10, and an expiration date of May 31, 2026, the Batch column shows 001 (10) 31/05/2026.
For medications that are not batch-tracked, entries in the Batch column are empty.
Previously, the output of the Standard version of the Controlled Drug report did not include batch information.
Other changes
The Boarding tab of patient records has better performance.
Fix: IDEXX Web PACS integration
If diagnostic interpretation requests use Markdown or HTML formatting, the formatting shows correctly in applicable areas of ezyVet and VetMedStat.

Fix: Product barcode labels
- You add a barcode for a product and do not select the option button adjacent to the barcode entry
- You add more than one barcode for a product and do not select a barcode for ezyVet to automatically use
- You add more than one barcode for a product, then deactivate a barcode that you configured ezyVet to automatically use
Previously, ezyVet showed an empty space or a red cross and did not show a barcode.
Fix: PetSure integration with GapOnly claims
- You save an e-claim
- The PetSure integration with GapOnly does not have the correct configuration or username and password
Previously, the screen that showed the claim form stopped responding.
Other fixes
Remote payments: When a client selects a remote payment link in a PDF statement, the client's web browser opens a page where they can complete the payment. Previously, the remote payment link did not operate correctly. The problem was applicable to organizations with many business units, hospitals, or departments.
Planning guides: When you use a planning guide template, ezyVet correctly sets the planning guide entries for all applicable days of the week. Previously, ezyVet did not set planning guide entries for Sundays.
Only staff members with the user account permission can change the User Session Timeout settings. Previously, all staff members could change the settings.
If a document template that you use for a consent form has the {AppointmentDate} template variable, the template variable shows the scheduled appointment date. Previously, the template variable showed the date that you made the appointment record in ezyVet.
Security
ezyVet version 44.9 has security fixes for the online portal.
