ezyVet version 44.1 is available from January 13, 2026.
Changes to inventory functions
ezyVet version 44.1 has changes to how it uses and shows inventory information. For more information, refer to ezyVet version 44.1: Changes to inventory functions.
Changes to financial records tables
- A Surcharge column that shows the surcharge total for a payment
- A Total Paid column that shows the payment total with the surcharge
- Select the pencil button in the table
- In the Table Column Visibility dialog box, select Surcharge and Total Paid
Previously, it was not possible to show surcharge totals in a financial records table.
Other changes
Clinical summaries have more space between different batches of medication. As a result, it is easier to see information for each batch.
Fixes for Easy Clinical Notes (pilot feature)
After you make a selection in a picklist, you can enter text to make changes to the selection. Previously, you could only enter text at the start or end of the selection.
You can use the Tab key to show a list of picklist answers. Previously, if you used the Tab key, ezyVet ignored picklist answers and opened the next applicable question.
- The sidebar shows the changed medication quantity
- It is not possible to change the quantity of the medication directly in the sidebar
- If you want to change the quantity, you must use the Medication section of the clinical record
Previously, the sidebar did not show changes to the quantity that you made in the Medication section.
Other fixes
Product group configuration: After you set Action to Set Product Group to change the products of a product group, ezyVet shows the correct product group in lists of configured products. And if you change the product group of one product, ezyVet also shows the correct product group in product lists. Previously, ezyVet did not show the change.
If an invoice includes tax in its total, copies of the invoice also include tax in the total. Previously, the copies did not include tax.
Product container configuration: When you set the Cost of sum of contained items system setting to Yes, ezyVet correctly calculates the sell price of a product container. Previously, when you changed the setting, ezyVet did not calculate the sell price again.
User account photos: If you add an image that is not a square shape, ezyVet shows the image correctly in the quick links area.
Wellness plan memberships use the correct Billing Date Preference value of the applicable wellness plan. And if the wellness plan does not have a Billing Date Preference value, ezyVet automatically uses the date of the month that the wellness plan membership started.
Clinical summaries and printed invoices show the batch number and expiration date of medications. Previously, they did not show.
