ezyVet version 44.0 is available from December 16, 2025.
Changes to the Medication Prescription dialog box
- You can add or remove batches for a medication that uses batch tracking
- A new Qty box shows for each batch that you can use to enter batch quantities
- The Qty box for medications has a name change to Rx Qty
- The Med # box does not show in the dialog box
- When you select a batch, ezyVet automatically adds the applicable quantity
- You can change the quantity of a batch manually
Other changes
Staff can only select inventory locations of an ezyVet hospital. Previously, staff could select inventory locations that a practice manager configured in other parts of ezyVet.
The button that you use to move appointments in the calendar is a white color. Previously, the button was a black color. The change was necessary because if you selected a dark color for an appointment type, the button was not easy to see.
Fixes: Easy Clinical Notes pilot feature
Formatting in a clinical template picklist shows correctly. Previously, if the picklist had input text, the picklist incorrectly showed markdown formatting characters (for example, **).
ezyVet correctly opens clinical records that use the Easy Clinical Notes feature. Previously, when you tried to open a clinical record, ezyVet showed error messages and did not open the clinical record.
Different staff can make changes to the same clinical record at the same time. Previously, if more than one staff member made changes, ezyVet incorrectly made the changes to a previous clinical record for the applicable patient.
If you try to add a product bundle that is not available for your department to a clinical record, ezyVet shows an error message. Previously, ezyVet incorrectly let you add the product bundle but would not show an error message.
Other fixes
Staff must have the necessary user account permissions to make changes to appointment types with the Records dashboard tab. Previously, if appointment types were from a central site as a result of a central site sync, staff could make changes without the necessary permissions.
An appointment status cannot have the same name as a different appointment status with a different letter case (for example, Departed and departed). Previously, statuses could have the same name and have different letter cases.
Planning guide templates: When you set a template for a calendar, ezyVet prevents an end date that is before the start date. Previously, ezyVet let you set the end date to a date that was before the start date.
