Import price data of products

A practice manager can import data about product prices from a CSV file. The CSV file can include changes that the practice manager made to product prices.

  • Make sure that the CSV file that you want to import is the result of an export of product price data from ezyVet
  • If applicable, make sure that the CSV file has the product price changes that you want to make
To do the import, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

  3. Select Record Import/Export.

    Trouble: If ezyVet does not show the Record Import/Export command, make sure that your user account has the Administration > Product > Importer permission.
  4. Select Products.

  5. In the Product Pricing section, select Import CSV.

  6. Find and select the applicable CSV file.
  7. Select Update records.
    ezyVet shows a Records updated dialog box with information about the imported data.
    Trouble: If the import has problems, the ​Records updated​ dialog box tells you the number of rows of the CSV file that have incorrect data. To troubleshoot, select the Download failed rows button that the dialog box shows. As a result, your browser downloads a CSV file that has only the problem data. The last column of the downloaded CSV file tells you what the problem is. Then:
    1. Make the necessary corrections to the CSV file
    2. Do steps 5 thru 7 again but select the corrected CSV file
  8. Select Done.
ezyVet has the product price changes.
