Send an e-claim to an insurance company that does not have ezyVet integration

After you send an e-claim, the insurance company examines the claim information.

Do the procedure given in Make an e-claim for an insurance company that does not have ezyVet integration.
Note: This procedure is only necessary for an e-claim that does not use an ezyVet insurance integration. If the e-claim is for an insurance company with an integration, do one of these procedures as necessary:
To send an e-claim, do this procedure.
  1. Select Dashboard.

  2. Select eClaims.
    The eClaims tab
    ezyVet shows the e-claims of your site.
  3. Select the applicable e-claim.
    ezyVet shows the e-claim record information.
  4. Use the Diagnosis Or Signs (*) box of the Vet Conditions section to enter an applicable diagnosis.
  5. Enter the remaining information in the e-claim record as necessary.
  6. Select Generate Attachments.
    ezyVet shows a Generate Attachments dialog box:

  7. Make sure that the selected template is Insurance Claim & Treatments (Document).
  8. Select Generate.
    ezyVet makes the insurance documents and adds them to the claim as a file attachment.
  9. Select Send Email.

    ezyVet shows a New Email Communication dialog box.
  10. In the Attachments section, select Add All to add the documents that you made in step 8.
  11. In the Email Template box, select an applicable email template.
  12. Make other changes as necessary.
  13. Select Send.
    ezyVet closes the dialog box. In the Status section of the e-claim record sidebar, ezyVet shows Claim is generated.
  14. Select Mark as Sent.
ezyVet sends the e-claim to the insurance company. The eClaims dashboard tab shows a green check mark in the Sent column for the e-claim:

When applicable, do the procedure given in Change the status of an e-claim for an insurance company that does not have ezyVet integration.
