Search weighting settings

ezyVet has a dedicated settings screen that a practice manager uses to configure the search weighting for each ezyVet record type. To configure the search weighting, they enter a number value in the box of each record type. Each box can have a number that is between one and 100. A number that has a higher value increases the search weighting of the record type. The increased search weighting causes ezyVet to show search results of the record type before other record types.

Note: The search weighting settings are not applicable to the global search tool. The global search tool has automatic search weighting that you cannot adjust.
The settings screen for search weighting has different sections. The name of each section gives the general type of information for a set of record types. Each section has boxes that a practice manager uses to enter the search weighting values for the record types.
