Configure a different fax provider

ezyVet usually uses its standard fax providers to send fax messages. If necessary, a practice manager can configure a different fax provider and a related email account that ezyVet uses to send fax messages.

  • Make sure that your user account has the necessary permissions
  • Make sure that you have the necessary information of the fax provider
    Note: The necessary information usually includes:
    • The web address of the fax provider
    • SMTP settings of the related email account (for example, the SMTP port and SMTP host)
    • The email address that ezyVet will use to send faxes

    If necessary, speak to your IT staff.

To configure a different fax provider, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

  3. Select Email to Fax/Phone.

    ezyVet shows its fax settings.
  4. Set Use Own Fax Account to YES.

  5. Make the remaining settings of the fax provider.

  6. Select Save.
