Configure an ezyVet site to prevent fax messages

If it is not necessary for your organization to send fax messages, a practice manager can configure the site with settings that prevent the messages.

To prevent fax messages, do this procedure.
Note: ezyVet does not have a dedicated setting that disables fax messages. But this procedure has the same result.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

  3. Select Email to Fax/Phone.

    ezyVet shows its fax settings.
  4. Set Use Own Fax Account to YES.

  5. In the Fax From box, enter from@example.com.

  6. In the Fax Provider box, enter example.com.

  7. In the SMTP Host box, enter example.com.

  8. Select Save.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet has a fax provider configuration that does not send messages.
Important: If your staff try to send fax messages, the communication records of the messages will show a Failed status. The Failed status is the correct result of this procedure. Thus, tell your staff that they will see the Failed status if they try to send a fax message.
