Configure an ezyVet site to prevent fax messages

If it is not necessary for your organization to send fax messages, a practice manager can configure the site with settings that prevent the messages.

To prevent fax messages, do this procedure.
Note: ezyVet does not have a dedicated setting that disables fax messages. But this procedure has the same result.
  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Integration.
The Integration setting in the settings list
  3. Select Email to Fax/Phone.
    The Email to Fax/Phone setting
    ezyVet shows its fax settings.
  4. Set Use Own Fax Account to YES.

  5. In the Fax From box, enter from@example.com.

  7. In the SMTP Host box, enter example.com.
    The SMTP Host box
  8. Select Save.
    The Save button
    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet has a fax provider configuration that does not send messages.
Important: If your staff try to send fax messages, the communication records of the messages will show a Failed status. The Failed status is the correct result of this procedure. Thus, tell your staff that they will see the Failed status if they try to send a fax message.
