Methods to add template images to templates
ezyVet has two methods that a practice manager can use to add a template image to a template. After they add the template image to the template, documents, labels, or emails of the template show the applicable image.
- Dedicated template variables for template images
- Template image links
Method: Dedicated template variables for template images
Each configured template image has a dedicated template variable. The dedicated template variable is the method that a practice manager uses to add the template image to an applicable template. As a result, the template shows the applicable image.
- Go to the configuration settings of the applicable template image
- Record that template variable that the Replacement Name box shows
- Add the template variable to the applicable template
Template variable example shows some of the settings of a configured template image. The Replacement Name box shows {TemplateImage2025Logo}
. Thus, {TemplateImage2025Logo}
is the template variable for the template image.
Template variable relation shows the relation between the dedicated template variable of a template image and what it shows in an template. The left side of the example shows a {TemplateImageCompanyLogo}
template variable in the source code of an email template. A practice manager got the template variable from the Replacement Name box of a configured template image. The right side of the example image shows a preview of the email template output. In the template output, the {TemplateImageCompanyLogo}
template variable shows the template image.
Method: Template image links
After a practice manager makes a template image, the template image record shows an image preview of its image. The practice manager can right-click the image preview to get a link to the template image. Then, they can add the link to the applicable template.
