About thank-you email

Vello can automatically send a thank-you email for client appointments.

A thank-you email can include:
  • A link to a Vello survey or a survey from a different system
  • A link to a reviews site for your practice (for example, Google reviews)

You can configure Vello to send a thank-you email for specified appointment types. For example, you can configure Vello to automatically send a thank-you email after a patient has an appointment for vaccination or grooming. The available appointment types for the configuration show in the Post Appointment screen. Vello syncs each appointment type shown in the screen from ezyVet..

Vello automatically sends a thank-you email for an appointment type one day after you set an applicable appointment to the Complete status in ezyVet.

Note: Vello always automatically sends a thank-you email one day after you make the change to an appointment status. It is not possible to configure Vello to send the email at a different day or time.
Note: Vello does not send a thank-you email for:
  • Euthanasia appointments
  • Deceased patients
Note: You can make changes to the thank-you email text. But it is not possible to:
  • Add formatting to the text (for example, bold or italic)
  • Make and save different thank-you emails
Note: Vello can only send thank-you messages as email. Vello cannot send thank-you text messages.
