Release notes: ezyVet version 45.6

ezyVet version 45.6 is available from August 11, 2026.

Changes to inventory settings of product records

When you change the inventory tracking setting of a batch-tracked product record from Batch to Product, ezyVet shows a confirmation pop-up window. The pop-up window tells you about changes to the batches of the product that ezyVet will make. If you select Continue, ezyVet makes these changes for each inventory location:
  • Uses the total quantity of all batches to calculate the product's inventory level
  • Changes the quantity of each batch to zero
  • Deactivates each batch

Previously, after you changed the inventory tracking setting, ezyVet kept the batch quantities. As a result, the product could have an incorrect inventory level.

Changes to the user change log

The change log of a user account shows changes to the settings of the user account. For each change, the change log shows this information:
  • The name of the setting
  • The new value of the setting
  • The date and time of the change
  • The person who did the change

Change to received inventory records

Received inventory records: If a line item's batch quantity is not equal to its received quantity, ezyVet cannot save a received inventory record. If you try to save the record:
  • ezyVet shows an error message
  • The line item shows a red color
  • The batch quantity box has a red border
  • ezyVet moves the screen to show the applicable line item

After you change an applicable entry in the line item, ezyVet removes the red color and border. Previously, ezyVet only showed the error message.

Fixes for user account records

When you save changes to a user account, ezyVet keeps the settings of the settings tabs that you did not open. ezyVet changes each setting independently. Previously, ezyVet could permanently remove the settings of a settings tab that you did not open.

ezyVet sends memo notifications that agree with the memo settings of a user account. Previously, if a staff member did not change their account's memo settings, the user account showed All, but ezyVet did not send memos about:
  • Diagnostic requests
  • Reports
  • Claim updates
  • Claim pre-approvals

The change log of a user account opens correctly when it has an entry for a primary role that is not a role name in ezyVet. The change log shows the recorded value. Previously, the change log did not open.
