ezyVet version 45.1 is available from June 2, 2026.
Design changes for the template editor
ezyVet's template editor has a new design. The new design includes changes to button icons and button locations.
Changes to inventory settings of product records
- Changed the name of the table to Inventory balances
- Removed the Name and Created Date columns
- Added new Hospital, Inventory location, and Available columns
- Changed the style and text color of the Show disabled setting
- Added a new Add new batch button that you can select to record a batch for a product
- Replaces the Expiry column with an Expiration date column
- Shows a new Show zero quantity setting
- Shows the available product quantity for each batch of the applicable inventory location
- Only shows batches that had inventory movements in the location that you selected with the Inventory location setting
- Does not show the Expiry column
- Shows the available product quantity for the applicable inventory location
The Overall Inventory Movement table for batch-tracked products has new Start date, End date, and Show allocated filters.
Changes to the New Vaccination dialog box
- You can add more than one batch entry for vaccinations that use batch tracking
- A Qty box shows for each batch entry
- You can add or remove batches
- If you add a batch, ezyVet automatically shows quantities for the batch
- You can manually make changes to batch quantities

- You can add more than one batch entry for medications that use batch tracking
- A Qty box shows for each batch entry

Other changes
The Controlled Drug report uses the new ASAP 5.0 format from the American Society for Automation in Pharmacy. As a result, the report obeys state laws in the United States.
Fixes
The output of the Inventory Transfer report correctly uses the date range that you selected with the report settings. Previously, the output did not include inventory transfers that occurred during the end date.
Inventory count screen: The Batch column always shows Unallocated for products that have Tracking Level set to Product. Previously, if you used ezyVet Scan to do the inventory count, some entries in the Batch column were empty.
You can deactivate records of expired batches. Previously, when you tried to deactivate a record, ezyVet showed this error message: Entered batch date is expired.
Easy Clinical Notes (pilot feature): ezyVet correctly prints a document after you use Easy Clinical Notes to add a product to an invoice, then approve the invoice. Previously, ezyVet did not print the document.
Security
ezyVet version 45.1 has better security for the Xero integration.
