ezyVet shows a sales templates mapped to product error message when you try to deactivate a product

Do this troubleshooting if ezyVet shows There are sales templates mapped to product when you try to deactivate a product:

Note: The error message also shows the name of the applicable sales template (for example, Ear Cleaning (moderate)).

The product has a relation with a sales template

Remove the relation with the sales template

A practice manager or a person with administrator permissions must do these steps.

  1. Select Related Records.

  2. Set Related Records to Used in Sales Templates.

    ezyVet shows the sales template records that have a relation to the product.
  3. Find the applicable sales template record.
  4. Double-click the icon that is at the left side of the sales template record.

    ezyVet opens a tab that has the sales template.
  5. To remove the relation, hover over the line item that has the product and select the red minus button.

    Note: As an alternative, use the Item box to select a different product.
  6. Select Save.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:
    A Record Saved Successfully message
  7. If necessary, do steps 3 thru 5 again for the remaining applicable sales templates.
  8. Try to deactivate the product again.
