About the VetRec integration
The VetRec integration connects VetRec to ezyVet so your organization can use two features: AI Scribe, which turns appointment audio into clinical notes, and AI Receptionist, which answers inbound clinic calls.

AI Scribe
AI Scribe uses audio recordings of your appointments to automatically record important information and sync it to the applicable ezyVet clinical records. As a result, your staff have more time for patient care.
After a practice manager configures the integration:
- ezyVet syncs appointment schedule and patient information to VetRec
- You can use AI Scribe to make audio recordings of your appointments
- AI Scribe uses the recordings to automatically save information about the appointments (for example, SOAP notes, an appointment summary, discharge information, and client communications)
- AI Scribe syncs the documentation to the applicable clinical records in ezyVet

AI Receptionist
AI Receptionist answers inbound clinic calls and handles front-desk workflows on the clinic's behalf. It sounds conversational, and acts as the clinic's first point of contact with clients at all times.
- Answer general clinic questions from the clinic profile and FAQ information
- Check appointment availability in ezyVet
- Book appointments directly in ezyVet
- Look up existing clients and patients before scheduling
- Collect the required information to register new clients and patients
- Capture medication refill requests for staff review
- Transfer callers or take messages according to configured escalation rules
