Send a diagnostic request for an IDEXX Reference Laboratories S-code

When you send a S-code diagnostic request to IDEXX Reference Laboratories, ezyVet also sends a diagnostic request to your in-house SediVue Dx analyzer.

Make sure that a practice manager completed the necessary configuration for S-code diagnostics.
To send the diagnostic request, do this procedure.
  1. Select Clinical.
    The Clinical tab
    The left sidebar shows clinical records of your ezyVet site.
  2. In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable clinical record.

  3. Select Diagnostics and Treatments.

    Trouble: If ezyVet does not show the Diagnostics and Treatments button, select View By Group:

  4. Adjacent to Diagnostic Request, select the plus button.

    ezyVet shows the New Diagnostic Request dialog box.
  5. In the Vet box, select the applicable veterinarian.
  6. In the Diagnostic Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record for IDEXX Reference Laboratories.
  7. In the Diagnostics box, select the applicable S-code test.
  8. Make the remaining settings as necessary.
  9. Select Add & Continue.
    ezyVet shows one more New Diagnostic Request dialog box.
  10. In the Diagnostic Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record for IDEXX VetLab Station.
  11. In the Diagnostics box, select the applicable SediVue Dx urinalysis test.
  12. Make the remaining settings as necessary.
  13. Select Add.

  14. Enter remaining information as necessary.
  15. Select Order.

ezyVet sends a diagnostic request to IDEXX Reference Laboratories and also sends a request to the SediVue Dx analyzer.
