About the Vetsource integration

The Vetsource integration gives you access to systems for prescription management, data analytics, and client communication.

Note: The Vetsource integration is only available in the United States.

Vetsource Practice Home (prescription management)

Vetsource Practice Home is a prescription management system from Vetsource. Use Vetsource Practice Home to:

Prescribe medications and diets
Give approval for client orders of medication and diets

The Vetsource integration for ezyVet makes it easy to do prescriptions and medications work. For example:

ezyVet automatically syncs client and patient information to Vetsource for easy access to client and patient records
Prescriptions that you make and change in Vetsource automatically sync to ezyVet
You can quickly and easily open prescription records in Vetsource directly from ezyVet clinical records

Note: ezyVet and Vetsource sync information each night.

After a practice manager configures the Vetsource integration, patient medication records in ezyVet can show a Vetsource button. The Vetsource button identifies a prescription that you initially made in Vetsource and that Vetsource synced to ezyVet. If you select Vetsource, ezyVet opens the applicable medication record in Vetsource.

Vetsource data analysis

Vetsource can do an analysis of your organization's data. The analysis can help you to make improvements to how your organization does work. To do the analysis, Vetsource uses client, patient, and financial data that it syncs from ezyVet.

Examples of what Vetsource data analysis can tell you:

How many patients and clients come back to your practice
How many new patients and clients come to your practice
Revenue changes that occur in different parts of your organization

Vet2Pet (client communication)

Vet2Pet is a client communication tool from Vetsource. Vet2Pet includes:

A mobile app for clients
A mobile app and a desktop app for your staff

ezyVet and Vet2Pet sync client, patient, and appointment data. As a result, you can use Vet2Pet to easily contact clients and to add appointments in ezyVet.

Note: If your organization uses Vetsource Practice Home, you can use Vet2Pet for no cost.

Some of the features of Vet2Pet include:

Notifications
Text messages
Emails
Appointment requests, confirmations, and reminders
Prescription requests
Online pharmacy
A client loyalty program
Custom colors, logos, and other visual features
