Make a supplier contact record for an insurance company
A supplier contact record is necessary for the configuration and correct operation of an insurance integration. A contact record is also necessary to send e-claims to insurance companies that do not have an ezyVet integration.
Note: This procedure gives only the minimum information that is necessary to make the contact record. For example, a contact record usually has physical address information. But it is not necessary to enter physical address information to make the record.
- Select Contacts.ezyVet shows the New Contact screen.
- In the Contact Type section, select Business.
- In the Contact Type section, select Supplier.
- In the Business Name box, enter the name of the insurance company.Tip: Enter a name that makes it easy for staff to know that the contact record is for an insurance company (for example, enter Petsure or Trupanion ).
- In the Email / Phone box, enter the email address or phone number of the insurance company.
- In the Type box of the Contact Methods section, select Email if you entered an email address.Note: If you entered a phone number, use the Type box to select the type of phone number.
- Select Save.
