About the SOUND integration
The SOUND integration gives access to diagnostic imaging from SOUND directly in ezyVet.
After a practice manager does the necessary configuration:
- You can send diagnostic imaging requests to SOUND from ezyVet clinical records
- You can get access to the related diagnostic imaging results from ezyVet clinical records
The diagnostic imaging requests and results are fully electronic. It is not necessary for staff to manually enter patient information in the medical imaging devices and software. As a result, the SOUND integration decreases the staff time and manual work to do diagnostic imaging.
Compatible modalities
The SOUND integration is compatible with these modalities:
- DR (digital radiography): SmartDR, cSeries DR, Canon DR
- CR (computed radiography): AGFA, FUJI
- US (ultrasound): GE
- CT (computed tomography): all devices that obey the DICOM 3.0 standard
- MR (magnetic resonance): all devices that obey the DICOM 3.0 standard
- OT (other): all devices that obey the DICOM 3.0 standard
The integration is compatible with all modalities that obey the DICOM 3.0 standard.
Note: ezyVet does not show JPEG previews in the clinical record. To look at a diagnostic imaging result, use the link in the clinical record to open the result in the SOUND HTML5 PACS viewer.
