About the Dodo integration
Dodo is an AI tool for client communications that can make changes directly in ezyVet.
When a client makes a phone call or sends an SMS to your organization, Dodo identifies the client and their requirements. Then, Dodo can do these tasks in ezyVet:
- Make appointments
- Do prescription refills
- Make records for new clients and patients
- Find necessary information to give to clients
Because Dodo is always available for client communication:
- Your staff use the phone for less time
- When clients make a phone call to your organization, they do not wait to speak to you
Note: The Dodo integration is only available in:
- The United States
- Canada
- Australia
The Dodo integration and client communication
The Dodo integration makes it easy for clients to contact your organization. This table gives examples of different conditions and each applicable result that occurs:

| A new client contacts your organization | Dodo knows that the client is new and makes a new record for the client in ezyVet directly. |
| ezyVet automatically syncs client information to Dodo | Dodo knows who clients are when they contact your organization. |
| ezyVet automatically syncs patient information to Dodo | Dodo gives clients necessary clinical information. |
| ezyVet and Dodo sync appointment information | Dodo tells clients when they can schedule an appointment. When a client uses Dodo to schedule an appointment, Dodo makes the appointment in ezyVet directly. |
The Dodo user interface
Use the Dodo user interface to:
- Send and receive SMS messages with clients
- Get access to transcripts and summaries of phone calls that clients had with Dodo
- Get access to analytics about client communications (for example, data about different methods that clients used to contact your organization)
- Configure Dodo settings
