About the standard-of-care system
The standard-of-care system gives you an easy and accurate view of the vaccinations and treatments that a patient received regularly or will receive regularly.
The standard-of-care system helps clients know which vaccinations and treatments are necessary for a patient and the related due dates.
- FIV vaccination
- DHPP vaccination
- Leptospirosis vaccination
- Blood tests
- Prescription diets
- Treatment items for health conditions (for example, for arthritis or chemotherapy)
The standard-of-care system can use communication tasks to send automatic reminders to clients. Thus, the standard-of-care system decreases the manual work necessary to send reminders about clinical care to clients.

The standard-of-care system automatically calculates due dates for care services (for example vaccinations or treatments). But if necessary, you can manually change the due date of a care service. For example, a patient could have a treatment service for a dental check. But if a veterinarian thinks that it is necessary to do the dental check during a different day, they can manually change the due date.
