ezyVet version 44.5 is available from March 10, 2026.

Changes to appointment records

ezyVet version 44.5 has these changes in the Appointment Address box in an appointment record:
  • A patient's address shows before a client's address
  • A patient's address does not show as the last address in the list of addresses
  • ezyVet shows the complete patient address
  • Each address in the list shows a label that identifies the type of address (for example, Residence: and Owner:)

Changes to the service fees that ezyVet adds to invoice line items

SmartFlow and CUBEX: The service fee in an invoice line item uses the value shown in the Service Fee Override (exc. GST) box for a product if these conditions agree:
  • You dispense a product directly from CUBEX
  • You set Send to Electronic Treatment Sheet to YES for the product
  • You add a value in the Service Fee Override (exc. GST) box for the product
  • You added a service fee product in the Pricing section of the product configuration
  • You set Sync with Cubex to YES for the product

Previously, ezyVet added the service fee product and did not use the value shown in the Service Fee Override (exc. GST) box.

Changes to the eReferrals dashboard tab

ezyVet version 44.5 has changes to referral entries shown in the eReferrals dashboard tab. The table that follows shows the different referral statuses, and information about the changes to entries for referrals with the status. Previously, it was necessary to change the status of some entries to make changes to a referral.

  • If you double-click an entry that has a related appointment, ezyVet shows an Edit Appointment screen
  • If you double-click an entry that does not have a related appointment, ezyVet shows an Approve Referral dialog box
  • If you select the green check mark in an entry, ezyVet shows an Approve Referral dialog box
Complete
  • If you double-click an entry that has a related appointment, ezyVet shows an Edit Appointment screen
  • It is not possible to double-click an entry that does not have a related appointment
  • The green check mark does not show for entries that have the Complete status

Other changes

In the payments screen, you can do a search for a payment quantity. To do a search, enter the quantity in the Search box of the left sidebar. As a result, ezyVet shows payment quantities with the same whole number value and with a decimal value in a range of 0.00 to 0.99. For example, if you enter 150.34 in the Search box, ezyVet shows payments with quantities of $150.00 to $150.99.

Note: To do a search for refunds, enter a negative quantity in the Search box of the left sidebar.

Online portal and client payments: The online portal shows a Make Payment button only to clients who have a client contact record in ezyVet. If a client has a different type of contact record, the online portal does not show the Make Payment button. Previously, the online portal showed the button for other types of contact records (for example, supplier contact records).

ezyVet version 44.5 has these name changes for Ambra integrations as shown in the ezyVet user interface:
  • Ambra Health (SPI) changed to Ambra Imaging (SPI)
  • Ambra Health (SII) changed to Ambra Interpretations (SII)

Fixes

Easy Clinical Notes (pilot feature) and picklists: Text that you enter between single quotation marks ( ' ) correctly shows as a title of a list of items that you can select. Previously, the text incorrectly showed as an item that you can select.

The online portal has security fixes to make sure that only clients can make changes to their pets' information.

After you select Create Document in a clinical record, the record tab that ezyVet opens has the correct gray color. Previously, the gray color was missing and the record tab showed with white color.

Centralized inheritance and sync settings for contact records: If you set Physical Address and Postal Address to Default, ezyVet correctly uses the settings. Previously, if you made changes to an address in an inherited site, ezyVet incorrectly changed the address again during the next sync.

Diagnostic Request dialog box: If you select or clear the Interp. setting for a Diagnostics entry, ezyVet keeps the selection that you made for an interpretation request. Previously, ezyVet did not keep the selection.
