Changes to inventory location settings

Hospitals	System settings for hospitals have a new Inventory Locations section. The section has a list of inventory locations for the hospital. You can select a primary inventory location from the list. Note: ezyVet uses a primary inventory location to automatically receive inventory (for example, if your organization receives inventory from a product supplier integration).
Departments	ezyVet version 43.7 replaces the Inventory Locations section with a Primary Inventory Location box.
Databases	ezyVet version 43.7 replaces the Sub Entities section with a Businesses section.
Inventory locations	ezyVet version 43.7 removes the Whitelisting and Properties sections because they have no function.	None
Business units	ezyVet version 43.7 removes the Sub Entities section because it has no function. The section had a list of departments and inventory locations for the business.	None

Changes to hospital information shown in ezyVet

Boxes in the ezyVet user interface that show the name of a business unit or department also show the name of the applicable ezyVet hospital. The hospital shown is the one that is connected to the department or business unit.

In this example, Boarding is the name of the department and Botany is the connected hospital:

Previously, the user interface boxes did not show hospital names.

New Payment dialog box and payment record screens: If you enter numbers in the Comments or Details section that are possibly for a payment card, ezyVet shows you a Warning: Storing card information is a major security risk. Remove any card information from the record or contact ezyVet support if you require assistance. message. This table shows the numbers that cause ezyVet to show the message if you enter them in the Comments or Details section:

Streamlined Estimates pilot feature: Changes to the estimates screen

ezyVet 43.7 has design changes to the estimates screen. The changes include new buttons that show when you hover over an estimate line item. Use the new buttons to:

• Make changes to a product bundle
• Show more information about a product
• Make changes to an alternative product name

Other changes include:

• The move handle to change the sequence of line items has a new design
• The arrow that you can select to show more line items is on the left side of the applicable line item (the arrow was previously on the right side)

Other changes

Wellness plans: If a wellness plan membership does not have a Billing Date Preference value, ezyVet uses the Billing Date Preference value of the applicable wellness plan. And if the wellness plan does not have a Billing Date Preference value, ezyVet automatically uses the day of the month that the wellness plan membership started.

For the Streamlined Estimates pilot feature, estimate line items have an information button that you can select to quickly and easily show product information:

Integrations for diagnostic tests and diagnostic imaging: You can drag the move handle in the bottom right corner of the Finalise Request dialog box to adjust the dimensions of the dialog box. Previously, it was not possible to adjust the dimensions of the Finalise Request dialog box.

Integration configuration: ezyVet version 43.7 removes Payment Express from the list of available integrations that a practice manager can select because no customers used it.

ezyVet version 43.7 removes the Standard Payment report because no customers used it.

It is only necessary for departments and inventory locations to have different names if they are each connected to the same business unit. Previously, a department and an inventory location of the same database could not have the same name.

You can do inventory transfers between hospitals of the same business unit. Previously, if you signed in to a department, you could only do inventory transfers to inventory locations that the department had access to.

Template for invoice line items: ezyVet has a new {{ invoiceline.serialAndExpiry }} variable for the Twig template system. Use the variable to show the serial number and expiration date of a line item of a product or batch. The new variable replaces the {{ invoiceline.serialNumbersString }} variable.

ezyVet version 43.7 has changes to prevent site performance problems when you use a dashboard tab to get appointment information.

If more than one inventory location is connected to the same ezyVet hospital, you can merge the inventory locations. Previously, Merge tabs in ezyVet did not show the inventory locations as available to merge.

Product inventory configuration: If you deactivate a batch, ezyVet identifies it with [i] text before the batch number as shown in batch lists. Previously, ezyVet did not clearly identify deactivated batches.

Records dashboard tab: If you use the Last Invoiced Department filter for contact records, the dashboard tab shows contact records only for the department that you select with the filter. Previously, the dashboard tab showed contact records for other departments.

PetSure GapOnly insurance e-claim: If an invoice has a connection to a settled claim, you cannot make changes to the invoice. Previously, you could make changes.

ezyVet does not let you make changes to master problem that a central site synced to an inherited site. Previously, you could make changes to master problems from a central site.

Easy Clinical Notes pilot feature: When you select a clinical template, ezyVet only shows templates that a practice manager made available for the department that you are signed in to. Previously, ezyVet incorrectly made clinical templates of other departments available for you to select.

If you make a communication record and the Department box is empty, ezyVet does not show an unwanted error message.

If the status of a wellness plan membership is Cancelled, you cannot set Renew to ON for the membership:

Records dashboard tab: If you use Set Auto Renew for many wellness plan memberships and a membership has a Cancelled status, ezyVet shows a You cannot enable auto-renew for a cancelled membership. (Patient Code: ####) error message.

Payments screen: If payment allocation for an invoice payment is fully completed, the C tab of the screen's left sidebar shows the applicable payment record. Previously, the A tab incorrectly showed the payment record.

Remote payments: ezyVet automatically deactivates a remote payment link at the time that a practice manager configured. Previously, ezyVet did not deactivate the links and it was not possible to manually deactivate them.

Invoices: In the Inventory Location box, you can only select inventory locations of your hospital or department. Previously, you could select other inventory locations.

ezyVet can change an ezyVet hospital to a business unit faster.
