A practice manager can configure a product with information that is necessary for controlled drug reports. For example, they can configure a controlled drug product with a product identifier and a schedule.

1. Select Admin.
   
2. In the settings list, select Products.
   
3. Select the applicable product.
   ezyVet shows the product settings.
4. Select Details.
   
5. Go to the Properties section.
6. In the Schedule/Class box, enter the schedule.
   
7. In the Product Identifier box, enter the product identifier.
   

   Note: In the United States, a controlled drug uses the National Drug Code (NDC) for the product identifier. The NDC is an 11-digit number.
8. Select Save.
